What’s different about this card?
Do you remember (and maybe somewhere they still have these) the photos that ask what’s different about this photo? Well, can you guess what’s different about this card from any other card that I’ve ever done?
I’ve finally learned to do something that I never thought I could! I’ve learned to download, resize, compose an arrangement, and print digital images to use on a card!! I can’t believe I haven’t tried this before! It was so much fun…..after I got over my intense fear of the unknown!!
There are 4 separate digital images here. They are all from a great new (to me) site called Angels Landing. Using Word, I inserted each of the images I wanted to use into a new document. I resized each of the images next. Then I placed the little bear where I wanted him to print on the cardstock, and added the tiny bird to sit at his feet. Next I placed the sentiment banner. Finally I placed 2 flower images and another little bird image elsewhere in the document because I knew I wanted to print, color and cut these out to be popped up from the main image.
I had also worried about whether the ink from my printer would smear when I colored the images with my Copic markers. But on the advice of digital whiz Tami Mayberry, I used photo ink to print with, and I had no problem whatsoever with smearing! I also got some great tips from Judi , the creative genius behind Angels Landing before I got started. Thank you so much, ladies!
This was so much fun and I love learning new things, so I know I’ll definitely be playing with these digi images some more! And how could you not LOVE this darling little bear and bird? You get so many images with each set too! What a deal!!
Thanks so much for stopping by at the start of your holiday weekend. I’m planning on spending a lot of time outdoors in the yard and at the pool with the grandkids. I can’t wait! Have a great weekend and please take a moment to remember the men and women who have fallen in order for us to be able to enjoy our wonderful freedom.

Broni – this is adorable. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I have been meaning to do a card using digital images but have been hesitate to do so – giving us the great tip from Tami will help because I have wondered about the possibility of smearing as well – the will surely help. I’m going to head over the Angels Landing now and take a look. Thanks and I hope you have a great Memorial Day holiday. Be safe.

Such a cute card!!!! Love it! Aren’t the digital images fun?!
I love your coloring on the bear image, Broni…but that flower just pops off the screen. This is precious.
Aren’t you clever! Now the sky is the limit w/digital! Beautifully done! Enjoy the family!
oh, this is so gorgeous, Broni!!!
Such sweet image and the coloring is absolutely great.

Way to go on the digital images!! I haven’t done that either, but I’m hoping to get into it at some point. I like the idea that you can resize them to fit the card. These images are TOTALLY adorable and your coloring, as always, is amazing!
Broni, thank you so much for showcasing my images. Your coloring and shading are gorgeous. The placement of the curved sentiment worked great with the Labels One die. Since the mini bears are a new image set, this is the first time I’ve seen another artist use it, and I am so pleased with your results. Your first foray into digital images is a real winner. 😀
I would never have guessed these were digital images. Makes me wish my other computer was working so I could print some of my ProvoCraft clip art. I appreciate the tip about the photo ink; I was wondering how people were managing that. Great job on this, Broni, and a super cute card!
Adorable card! Loving those new digi images!!
This is super-sweet, Broni! Your coloring is fantastic and I love the flower!
He is so cute! I would never think that this little bear is a digi stamp! Thank you so much for sharing all the information and links!
Ooooh, Broni, you are such a techie!!!! I love the digi images and how cool to create the whole thing the way you want!!! I’ll have to go check out that site (like I would really know what to do when I got there…bwahaahaahaahaa!!!)!!! Your coloring is sooo awesome on this…love every little detail!!!!!
Soooo sweet, and perfectly colored!! I love the beautiful popped flower, cute bird, and pretty papers!!
Seriously cute, Broni!!! WTG learning something new! I keep saying I’m going to and never seem to have the time. Maybe soon, LOL!
Oh my goodness!
Broni, I so need a lesson in this digi-stamping from you! Seriously!
What a darling creation!

Broni, what a wonderful way to showcase Judi’s images! You did a wonderful job on coloring the bear as well as putting together a great color combo an combining images from different sets. Congrats on diving into the digi world. Once you get the hang of it, it’s not so bad (as you’ve discovered)! I always say you never know, if you don’t try… *wink*
You’ll soon be too addicted to digi stamps that it would be hard to go back to regular stamping – teehee!
Alma =)
Wow Broni this is super! The images are so cute and wonderfully colored! I am in awe of your digital ability too! I have yet to venture into the digital stamp world…I have enough issue with physical stamps! Then again, if they were all digital my hubby wouldn’t know how many I had…I might need to rethink this!
This is fantastic!
