Briefly….a robot birthday gift…
I’ll be heading out the door in a few minutes to my oldest grandson’s 9th birthday party, but I wanted to show you how he’ll receive his video game gift.
I wanted a robot theme so The Botz Family stamp set from Our Craft Lounge paired with Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo Mr. Robotico paper just fit perfectly.
Where’s the patterned paper, you ask? I’m getting to that!
I couldn’t decide how I wanted to decorate the gift bag, and I waited until the last minute, so I didn’t want to get too fancy. I ended up spending most of my time designing the card (and finding tiny gears – for which I have George to thank!). Finally I just decided to add a clear envelope to the front of the bag and slip the card it. Instant decorated bag! Well, not quite instant, but you know what I mean!
I love the addition of the Tim Holtz Ideology swivel clasp and the jumbo eyelets!
And here’s the inside of the card:
The loop at the top of the card is so that he can easily pull the card from the envelope.

Wow! That’s cute! And what a fantastic idea for decorating the bag. One of those “gee, why didn’t I think of that” moments. I’m definitely going to remember this next time I do a gift bag. What amazingly perfect paper for it too!
