It’s Wacky Wednesday!!
There’s a new challenge in town! We’re going to be hosting the Wacky Wednesday challenge every Wednesday (duh!) over on the Rubbernecker blog. Each week there’ll be a new and different challenge presented by one of the members of the design team!
Today your hostess is Badsherry! Sherry’s chosen for us to make ATCs today. I’ve made a few in the past, but none lately. I have to be honest…the tiny size (2-1/2 x 3-1/2) is a little intimidating to me. I always worry that the space is not big enough to really compose anything. But I’m wrong! There are ATC sketches to be found and if you think about it, you really probably already are designing ATCs every day! And putting them on your cards as a layer!!
I decided to go with a flower and butterfly theme again (see my other flower and butterfly design for the Color Throwdown challenge HERE).
The mum was stamped 3 times on the DP and cut into progressively smaller layers. Each layer was heat embossed using clear EP. I don’t know if you can see it, but the black oval was run through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder. The butterfly’s wing tips are lined with a gelly roll pen.
You can check out all the design team members’ fantastic creations on their blogs:
- Bev Gerard (Tex)
- Candy Williams
- Joan Ervin
- Juliana Swanson
- Kittie Caracciolo
- Linda Duke
- Shelly Kuck
- Sherry Cheever
- Tami Mayberry
And we’d like to invite you to play along with us! Just make your own ATC, post it to your blog or your favorite online gallery, and link it directly in a comment on today’s Rubbernecker blog post. There could be something special in it for you!! Dave’s giving away 3 gift certificates each week!
Thanks for stopping by to visit today!
