Time for Dreams crop Snowflake Wonder crop

Bev’s challenge for us today at the Rubbernecker Blog is to use any kind of fiber on our creations – just no ribbon. This was fun!

I decided I wanted to try some t!m tags, since I’ve been tuning in to his blog to check out his 12 tags of Christmas. What a talented guy!

I followed his technique HERE to ink up the 2 tags with my Distress inks – Weathered Wood, Broken China, Faded Jeans. Then I used his masks (a different one on each tag – Timeworks on the Dream tag, and Flourish on the Snowflake tag) and his method HERE, sponging and stamping over the mask, so that only the distress ink backgrounds showed through where the masks were.

Time for Dreams

~~~
~~~

For the Dream tag, I stamped the French Letter background stamp in Broken China ink and the Sleeping Girls in Frayed Burlap ink. The sentiment was stamped in Walnut Stain.

Both the grungeboard star and sentiment tag were pressed into the distress ink pads. Then the sentiment was stamped onto the tag and the star was covered in Glossy Accents then FloraCraft Diamond Dust.

~Snowflake Wonder

For the Snowflake tag, I sponged over the Flourish mask and stamped the Mesh background stamp and the Snowflake Square stamp with Dusty Concord ink.

The grungeboard swirl was painted with an Adirondack acrylic paint dabber in snow cap then dusted with a good coating of Jet Eye Chunky Opaque Hologram glitter from Art Glitter.

The snowflakes were punched out and added along with the felt snowflakes, then the silver dot stickers were added to the centers.

Everything was adhered to the tag using Ranger Glossy Accents.

These tags were so much fun to make….but my hands are still stained in Broken China and Dusty Concord!
