Anna Mae Smiles – CTD 22
This week’s Color Throwdown challenge has us using pink, green and black. What a versatile combination! The proof is in the wonderful examples presented to you by the design team. They always amaze me!
I’ve been dying to use these new, adorable stamps from Our Craft Lounge. I know you’ve seen them everywhere – everyone loves them! But I was just itching to ink them up and color them with my Copic markers! After all, they were drawn by the Copic genius herself, Marianne Walker! And 2 of the most talented and sweetest people I know started the company – Cambria Turnbow and Joy Kennedy!
Here’s my first fun card with the precious Anna Mae set ~
Her dress and hair bow are paper pieced, and the Smile she’s holding is popped up on foam mounting tape. I used an ornare piercing template for the swirl design, but instead of piercing it, I used my Copic multiliner to draw the dots through the holes in the template, then dotted over those again with a black gel pen.

These images are adorable! I love that you used the sentiment “smile” in her hands too. Everything works so well on this card, the colors, paper, border and lovely coloring. Great job!
