Here are this week’s colors, chosen and brought to you by our own Kisa Peters of Kisa’s Paper Cuts:

CTD5

I can’t believe that summer’s almost over and it will be fall pretty soon! I’m a hot weather person, but I have to tell you that it’s almost been too hot here in the Carolinas and with virtually no rain all summer, we’re literally burning up! So I won’t complain when a little cool weather rolls around. Mind you, I said cool….NOT cold!

Today’s color challenge card was made with the hopes that either some cooler weather or some rain will come our way. I adore this cutie scarecrow from Rubbernecker! He’s in the new Fall section. You should see the great variety of images…from cutesy to serene and beautiful!

Autumn Greetings

After I stamped this fella in Palette Hybrid Burnt Umber and colored him in with Copic markers, I stamped over the entire image with the mesh background stamp having already stamped off once on a piece of scrap paper. I did the same thing on the wasabi textured cardstock pieces too. These wasabi pieces actually started out as one long piece, which I decided would look better as smaller offset pieces.

Well, that’s all I have for you today. I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for visiting! And I hope you’ll link us up to your color throwdown challenge cards!

You are right. Fall is almost here! And this summer is traveling by us, fast. But this heat is killing us too. But our “little storm” helped cool us down. I am happy about that.

Your card just makes me giddy for Fall. I love all the colors of Fall and you put them into your card.
