2 For You Tuesday #9
It’s Tuesday and time for some more card designs – 2 to be exact! Of course I have one bit of information to share with you first….
We have 2 new guest designers at Rubbernecker! They are 2 fantastically talented and wonderful ladies……Bev Gerard (you may know this lovely lady as Tex!) and Juliana Swanson (also better known as Julesiana!). Woo hoo! I’m just thrilled to be working with them on this wonderful team! Of course, with every bit of good news, there sometimes comes some sad news. Leigh O’Brien, stamper-extraordinaire and cutie patootie, has finished her run as guest designer and is moving on! Best of luck to you, Leigh! As I told her, I WILL be stalking her blog, just as I always have! But yay! The super talented and adorable Tami Mayberry will be staying on as a permanent member of our team!
Now on to the cards:

And speaking of CANDY…………Tami and Shelly have some BLOG CANDY for you to win today!
My card was made with baseball season in mind. My grandsons, Hunter and Will, will be playing again this year so that means hot dogs, popcorn and coke for supper a few nights a week!
I had to keep it simple and frill-free since it will be going to one of them before the season is over. I’ll have to get busy and make another one too.
This Little Lovin’s Kid Brian is just perfect for someone like me who loves to color! And did you see how the glove and ball are popped up? Cute! Here are the Copic markers I used:
Stamps: Brian and You’re My Hero – Little Lovin’s Kids section at Rubbernecker
Paper: white, Prismatics Intense Kiwi, light teal textured cardstock, My Mind’s Eye 12×12 slab
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (image), Versafine Onyx Black (sentiment)
Accessories: Copic markers, small & large oval punches, spiral punch
All items in this color are available at Rubbernecker

JACKSONBELLE EMBELLISHMENTS – JBE14
~~~
Today’s Jacksonbelle challenge is a color challenge and the color chosen by Lila is PINK! I started out with the pink patterned paper, then totally gravitated towards everything else purple. Oh well, at least I did use a little pink!
The gorgeous Inkadinkado bird from the Winter Birds set is stamped in PTI Plum Pudding ink and in Versamark, then embossed with clear EP. I sponged around the edges with my ink blending tool and Ranger Distress Milled Lavender ink. The jeweled flower is a cell phone case sticker.
The scrumptious paper is Basic Grey Euphoria. I love every piece of paper in this collection! The sentiment is from the Inkadinkado set Chelsea Sentiments.
Check out all the other designers’ creations here:
- Amber Hight
- Beth Thomas
- Dee Jackson
- Elizebeth Neumann
- Erin McKinney
- Kisa Peters
- Lila Holgate
- Lindsey Botkin
- Lynda Benden
- Maren Benedict
And please play along with us. If you upload to SCS, use keyword JBE014. I’d love to see what you can do with the color PINK!
