RBC09 – Using circles
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi there! I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day and a great weekend in general. I did! My family came over for a big afternoon meal and playing around with the boys.
Here’s a look:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks for letting me share. Now on to the challenge!
This week the Rubbernecker challenge is to use a circle or circles on your card! I used an image from the KK Originals collection called Inner Circle and I also used my circle Nestabilities dies, my Swiss Dot Cuttlebug folder and some polka dot paper.
My Inner Circle was colored with Copic markers and the Swiss Dot layer, the Inner Circle image layer and the sentiment layer are all popped up on mounting tape.The thin brown circle was really an afterthought. I had made the brown mat for my Inner Circle larger at first and decided it was too big. So I used the next smaller Nestie to cut it down and ended up with this thin brown circle. It’s cool how sometimes mistakes turn out to be inspirations! I love what it adds to the card!
I can’t wait to see what the other design team members have made, because it seems that each week at least 2 of us use the same image or family of images.
Please play along with us! Create your card, upload to your online gallery or blog using the RBC09 keyword, then link your post to Jeanne’s post today. You’ll be entered into the monthly drawing to win a $25 Rubbernecker Bucks gift certificate. Cool, huh?
Thanks for visiting me today! Have a great day!

Broni, I love seeing your family pictures. What gorgeous kids and grandkids you have. I have to ask……how high is that cat door? It looks like it is over the shoulder of your men.
Your card is absolutely wonderful and creative. WooHoo! I can’t wait for you to come to my house in June!
Your pics are great! You have some great looking grandkids and your daughter’s are beautiful too! Your card is great! I love the bright colors and the Swiss dots, the bling, the BP…oh heck, I love it all!
How fun!! I love those pics!! Especially you with your boys (Miles with his mouth open for the ice cream–just too cute)! Your GS, Will, reminds me of my ds, Will, at that age–blonde, all boy, and often with a hose in his hand!
BEAUTIFUL CARD
I love the way you have colored the *Inner Circle* and that layout is WONDERFUL!!
