Treasure and Candy

Woman Holding Flowers crop

Ahoy again, Mateys!

It’s time for another Tuesday Treasure Hunt at Rubbernecker Stamp Co. The treasure will be available for you to find from 4:00 am PST until 9:00 pm PST. You can find the first clue on the Rubbernecker home page here: FIRST CLUE

Now, if you’d like a chance to win some BLOG CANDY this week, just leave me a comment on this post and tell me which color you find yourself using the most of these days. It’s definitely a light aqua or teal for me. I believe it’s got to do with my love of water! Then you can head on over to Kittie’s blog, because she’s giving away some candy too!

~~~~~
Here’s my card today using the stamp Woman Holding Flowers from Rubbernecker’s Stamp Oasis People section.
Woman Holding Flowers blog
I had THE MOST FUN coloring this image. I just took my time and played to my heart’s content. Usually I’m always rushing to get things done, so I totally enjoyed this experience. Of course, after coloring it I had to decide what to do with it. I’m not thrilled (especially with the ribbon application), but it’ll do. I do, however, really like the Swarovski crystals and how they make the overall image kind of magical looking!
Thanks for visiting today! Please be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win that blog candy!
    Wow, Broni. This is stunning! I love the way you colored this image. I agree with Viv, the crystals add a nice touch. There are so many bright colors that I seem to be grabbing lately, but I think I am drawn more to bright or navy blue lately, too. Maybe I am also craving the ocean. 🙂 Kelly
    hmmm my current color obsession would be grey tones with tons of brights on top
  5. Laurie Helgason says:
    The shading is amazing. I understand the concept but have difficulty visualizing where the shading belongs on an image. The bold colors are perfect for the stamps image.
    I have been drawn to orangy reds. Like a tequila sunrise, cha cha cha.
    I just picked up a stack of the last 10 cards I have made, and the color on all of them was quite a surprise to me—pink! Don’t get me wrong-I like pink. I just didn’t realize I used it that often!! My favorite color is red and then green, so it was kinda strange to me that my most used color wasn’t one of those.
    Thanks for asking so that I could learn something about myself, and thanks for offering some blog candy!
    By the way, I’m so jealous of your ability to color–you’re good. 😉
  25. Heather Fullerton says:
    At the moment and probably always will be is a mixture of Razzleberry and Mystic Blue from H20 from LuminArte. Gotta love purple and teal…they are both so rich in color…they make me feel like royalty.
