It’s been a busy week…and some news!

Hi everyone! It’s really been a crazy, busy week for me. A lot of people are sick or out on vacation at work, so guess who’s picking up the slack?! That’s right…me!

Thursday night my younger daughter Jen was a principal in a ballet production in Charlotte, NC. She’s been ‘en Pointe’ since she was 7 years old and has been in multiple performances, but this was her first in several years, and her first since becoming a mom. She was nervous and worked so hard rehearsing, spending many hours away from her family. Her performance was wonderful! Even Miles, her son who is 21 months old, sat still on my lap and watched her portion of the ballet. I think that’s quite a feat!

Here are a couple of the photos we took. The lighting was strange and of course you can’t use a flash in the theatre.

  Jen 2 Jen 3 Jen 4 Jen 5

Jen 6 Jen 7

Ok, so that’s maybe more than a couple, but I couldn’t decide which ones to show you!
