This week the colors are cream and browns. Simple, huh? Not really. I usually want to add a lot of color to my cards. But I finally decided on a coffee card. You just can’t go wrong with that!
This was a simple card to make. I attached the 2 patterned papers to the card front then wrapped the ribbons around and tied each in a knot. The mug was stamped twice and colored with Copic markers. Then I cut one mug out, including the bottom swirl of steam with the mug. The vanilla main image panel was spritzed with cocoa ink, then matted onto cocoa cardstock and a scalloped rectangle of chocolate chip cardstock. This layer was then attached to the card front using mounting tape. The “Java Minute?” was stamped with Versamark and Palette Hybrid Burnt Umber and clear embossed.
I added brown Tulip Slick paint to the coffee and a coat of Ranger Glossy Accents to the mug.
Thanks for visiting! Be sure to submit your card to the color challenge for a chance to win Rubbernecker Bucks!
