I could always eat a piece of cherry pie! I’m more of a pie person than a cake person, although I probably wouldn’t turn down a piece of cake either!

Here is my card for today: Cherry Inchies

Cherry Inchies

It’s all the craze, ya know! These inchies are taking over! And why not…..they are so darn cute and really fun to make! You don’t even have to use an entire image, just a part of one.

All of my images are from the Rubbernecker Sweets section – yum! These small images are perfect for inchies! I just stamped and colored them, then punched them out with a 1″ square punch. Voila! An inchie! The brown mats behind the inchies are made with a 1-1/4″ square punch. I used this punch for the red mat layers as well – I just trimmed them down to about 1-1/8″ square using my craft knife.

The inchies are mounted on a cardstock covered square of chipboard which was dotted using a brown marker. The cute cherry ribbon was in the $1 section at Michael’s.

Thanks for visiting today! Now leave me a comment to be eligible for the blog candy. I’ll use random.org to choose the winner tomorrow. And head over to Kittie’s blog to find the first clue for the Treasure Hunt!!!

I am so glad to see your card I was wondering what SCS was talking about when they are talking about inches, I know they are so huge in SCS and probably all over . I have a few inches that I purched quite awhile ago, but never got really into them, I guess I need to look at them again with another view. I guess like everything elas waith afew years and they come back into style. Thanks for sharing, Love Cheryl

Warm bread pudding and vanilla ice cream is definitely my favorite dessert. I could eat that every day. You could also substitute the vanilla ice cream with anything from Ben & Jerry’s awesome flavors. You would have to get me thinking about desserts! Cute card. I’ve got to get on board with the inchies. Haven’t tried making them but all the cards made with them are adorable.
