Happy Summer – Inspiration Challenge IC120

Happy Summer topper

When I saw that Stef had posted a beautiful beach bracelet as the inspiration for today’s challenge IC120 on Splitcoaststampers, I knew I had to play. It just took me all day to be able to make my card and to post it.

We’ve had beautiful weather here today – 72 degrees and sunny. So I’ve spent most of the day in the yard, cleaning out the flower beds and getting ready for spring. I am so ready!

My card uses the colors and the shells of the inspiration photo.

Wouldn’t you just love to be in that chair by the ocean? I know I would.

All the stamps and inks are from the Rubbernecker Beach Party section. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Old World mat stack.

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Hi there – I really have enjoyed looking at your blog and one question remains – how do you get those ribbons and bows to behave like that? Mine are far messier… Help?
