Another Dirty Girl challenge!

It’s time for another Dirty Girl challenge on Splitcoaststampers!  Each month on the 20th, all the past and present Dirty Dozen girls are presented a challenge by Jami Sibley.  This month it was to create a card with these requirements:

(1) use a stamp designed by a Dirty Girl,

(2) use spring colors, and

(3) not use any diecut/embossing machines.

While the last requirement to not use my Cuttlebug was definitely a challenge for me, it was not hard at all to choose the stamp set to use.

I had just received my new Posies For You set which was designed by Anna Wight, a Dirty Dozen Alumni.  A numbered and autographed set, I might add!!!  These flowers are so whimsical and sweet!  Can you see the tiny pink butterfly in the upper right hand corner?

I stamped the bucket on a silver metal sheet, cut it out and scuffed it up a bit using a sanding stick.  The oval was made with a Giga scallop oval punch and I cut the scallop edges of the stamped white cardstock with scallop scissors.  I also colored the edges of the scallops with a Copic marker.  The 2 roses and 1 big leaf were stamped and colored on a second piece of cardstock, then cut out and mounted on top of the original image using dimensionals.  The ribbon was threaded through the 2 flowers, tied in a knot, then threaded back through and wrapped around the card front.  It’s tied in a pretty knot on the inside of the card, and has another tiny butterfly stamped just below the knot.

You can see all of the cards made for this challenge here.

Thanks for visiting me today!  Come back soon!!
