Under the Weather? – a color challenge

Published by at 9:30 pm under Card Designs,Challenges,Copic markers

This card was created for Color Challenge 150 on Splitcoaststampers.  The colors this week were real red, soft sky and blue bayou.  Great colors together!  And this is the first time this Rain or Shine stamp set has seen ink.  It’s fun to play with and has so many possible uses!  I’m sure you’ve already seen all the great creations from the MFT design team, but I thought I’d throw my design out there too!

The umbrella was stamped in real red ink on glossy white paper then cut out and mounted to the card last.  It’s very shiny in real life!  The blue bayou layer as well as the umbrella are on mounting tape.  I had some fun sewing on this card too.

Thanks for stopping by today!
