Baby Bear
Every Wednesday night is grandchildren night for me. I travel about 30 miles after work to my oldest daughter Gretchen’s house to play with Hunter, who’s 7, and Will, who’s 5. They both love stuffed animals, and in particular teddy bears. That’s why I love this precious little bear from Rubbernecker’s Baby section. He’s just adorable.
With grandsons, I HAD to make a boy oriented card! He was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink on watercolor paper and colored with my waterbrush and Ranger Distress inks. I used my rectangle Nestabilities to cut the image and the blue bayou layers. I stamped the Swiss Dot background on the top half of the yellow layer and the sentiment at the bottom of that layer, both in the faded jeans ink. Then I sponged around the edges with the faded jeans ink. After attaching the image to the blue layer I punched a hole at the right edge for the ribbon. I added the night of navy strip, threaded and tied the ribbon in a knot, then added the safety pin and attached the image panel. That’s it!
Stamps: Baby Bear, Babies are a Treasure, Swiss Dot Background
Paper: watercolor paper, night of navy, blue bayou, so saffron
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Ranger Distress inks: old paper, frayed burlap, tattered rose, faded jeans, peeled paint, fired brick, scattered straw
Accessories: waterbrush, cropadile, sponge, ribbon, safety pin

He is so stinkin’ cute!!!
Your coloring of this adorable image is a treasure! Too sweet! I’ve been a little immersed in baby cards lately–trying to swim my way back to the surface world of adult cards. This one is a real charmer!
