My card today is for the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The artist featured this week is mitchygitchygoomy, and her gallery is amazing!
Here is her card that I chose to CASE: Hugs & Kisses & Bella Birthday Wishes
And here is my card:

I’ve kept the general layout, but flipped it on it’s side because of the orientation of my main image. I changed the image and the colors. But I did use a ribbon embellishment and 3 pearls like Michele did.
What looks like the image background is actually the image itself. It’s called White Christmas and it’s from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps. It’s been embossed with a beautiful multi-hued blue embossing powder called Carnival from Powder Keg that I’ve had for a couple of years now.
The vellum layer is dry embossed using the Candy Cane Stripe Cuttlebug folder, and the chipboard flourish is coated with Martha Stewart glitter in Blue Topaz.
Thanks for checking in with me!
- Stamps: White Christmas (G3069) (Just For Fun Rubber Stamps)
- Paper: vintage cream (Papertrey Ink), not quite navy, vellum, Christmas Past Collection (Graphic 45)
- Ink: versamark
- Other: Carnival embossing powder (Powder Keg), Candy Cane Stripe CB folder, distressing tool, chipboard flourish, Martha Stewart blue topaz glitter, vintage cream ribbon & twine (Papertrey Ink), pearl stickers (Recollections), foam tape

Hi, everyone! I have another Our Craft Lounge Christmas card to show you today. Funny, because I had already started on this card using the Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly paper, when I received the Zva package that I showed in THIS post. So what a coincidence that I used a very similar mix of papers as I did on that project!
~
I’ve used Laura’s sketch 40 from the 2 Sketches 4 You blog. And I also used at least 5 buttons which qualifies for the Cards Magazine challenge.

~
All my edges are sponged with Ranger Distress antique linen ink and if you look closely, you can see the Ranger Distress crackle paint in Rock Candy on the sheet music. (Click on the photo below.) I just love that stuff!
I used a circle and scalloped circle together at the same time to cut the black glittery paper into the wreath shape. The mistletoe is colored with Copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by again today! Have a wonderful weekend! Hopefully I’ll be finishing up my Christmas cards and be able to start a little shopping! (Yep. I said “start”. Sigh.)

Hey there, people! Well, Thanksgiving is over and now we move on to Christmas! Didn’t we just celebrate that?? It sure seems like it!
I’m still working on my Christmas cards; hoping to finish them THIS year. I had fun making this one. I layered the poinsettia, offsetting each layer a little to make the flower look fuller. It’s on top of a pre-glittered wooden snowflake which is on top of a Fleur De Lis pendant in regal rose. I just love the beautiful green rhinestones from Kaiser Craft.
Thanks for checking in with me today! Have a great one!

I’ve missed the last couple of weeks of playing in the JUGS girls challenges so I made it a point to get a card done for this week’s JUGS8 color challenge. What a fun combination of bashful blue, pumpkin pie and really rust! I also used the C4C12 sketch for this week too! Here’s my card using another Pure Innocence digi image:
There are Ranger Distress stickles in Picket Fence white all around the edge of the patterned paper, spread over the snowflakes on the blue panel and along the ground snow line. I used Sparkly Fluff on the hat pom poms and on the snowman’s scarf. Here are a couple of close ups. (You can click on them to see them larger.)
That’s it for today! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

We have some gorgeous fall colors for you this week brought together into the Color Throwdown challenge by our super-duper talented Ms. Barbara. Don’t you love them?
For my card, I chose to use this new image I got from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps. It’s called Ready for Winter and I just love the vintage look of this sweet little lady in her winter coat. I wonder what she’s waiting for? A train, a bus? Hmmm. Anyway, I decided to watercolor her, since I haven’t done that in FOREVER!!
Please join us in this week’s challenge! You can find all the details on the Color Throwdown blog and then check out all the cool creations of the design team here:

A friend of mine at work, who so does NOT like all things girly, is having a birthday on Tuesday. Well, she’s getting a “girly” card from me, but it won’t have pink and all kinds of frilly things. A little girl in a dress with a balloon is not TOO girly, I hope.
I like the clean, crisp look of the kraft and white, with a few pops of red. I wanted her little dress to have the same swiss dots as the mat layer, so this is how I pieced it all together. (Obviously, I took the photo before I finished coloring her legs and shoes! And I have no idea why the colors are so off, either.)
I hope she likes her birthday card! Thanks for stopping by!

- Paper: Neenah white, kraft (Papertrey Ink)

I went for a rustic, woodsy feel for my card today. But I can’t wait to try this out with a sweet & glittery feminine theme too.
